Thanks sput and essencay. I already found some help but your offers are honorable. Essencay, I tried to send you an email about windowblinds retaining colors from prior installed skins. The email was returned to me by mailor damon. damn. I found that if you reload current skin everything is normal. It happens to any skin I apply. I figure its a bug with my windowblinds but I figured maybe others are having the same issue. I emailed you thinking you might have found a solution. You seem to know your way around.

NightTrain...I've been in so many different directions lately...I don't remember talking about this (which doesn't surprise me...short term memory loss, braincells destroyed in my youth )

I don't think it's a bug with WB, rather that the author of the skin just loaded hasn't assigned a color to every section that requires a defined color, so WB uses the default BlueXP or the last skin used. Same thing can happen with fonts if they are not all assigned.

There...put that comment out there blindly....

As for the returned email...I don't know why other than Earthlink is getting overzealous with the spam and AV filters on their servers. Which is generally okay for me, because while I keep hearing in posts here about all that nasties that everyone is getting...I'm not. In fact I could probably count on one hand how much spam I got last month. Now My wife still gets 30 to 40 spam messages a day, put then again she signs up for everything and downloads trial games all the time. Thank God I got her a separate computer...It's a nightmare cleaning hers up once a month

he he he essencay, The smartest thing I ever did was get my girlfriend her own pc. Now she can do whatever she wants. If she breaks it she waits for it to be fixed. No more waiting on my behalf.
