2 hard PC crashes since the update

Hi,

I installed the update a couple of days ago and since then my Windows PC locked up requiring a shutdown and restart. And then it happened again today. Do you need any log files or something in order to look into this. Thanks.

In order to help, we are going to need the name of the software and full version number, as well as, the full version number of Windows. (Please use winver.exe for the Windows version)

Pelaird is correct to ask for more details, each of these things would certainly help us understand any issue.

We also have a wide range of "self-help" support pages for each product, that could be useful for you:

FYI, I experienced some hard crashes recently.

Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent;  Code: 141;  Bucket ID: LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Pascal

The error code 141 and the word Pascal in the Bucket ID led me in the direction of my video card. From further investigation, it seemed it was related to a corrupted video driver. I experienced this once with 26200.8313, and twice with 26200.8328.

I downloaded a fresh installer from Nvidia, an installed it checking "Perform a Clean Installation." This deleted the old driver, and then installed the new driver.

I'm not sure if the Windows update caused this. but that's my suspicion, as they are screwing around with drivers.

I haven't experienced any more hard crashes for five days now. Fingers crossed!

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please try, uninstall XXX, reboot immediately (important), download latest version (v2.72) available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Also, any specific reason you're not updating Windows 11 to v25H2?

Thank you,
