Capital Ships AWOL

After considerable loss, hardship and sacrifice my space marines were able to capture the L.D> Marimando -1 from the vile and hated Luxar Dominion.   The battle was mighty and many good ships were lost, but at the end - the Marimando was ours!
However, almost immediately the ship was sucked into the strange and mysterious alternate dimension, know only by its cryptic name faintly hears in the echoes of space:

SHIT THAT THE DEVS SHOULD HAVE FIXED LONG AGO INSTEAD OF INTRODUCING NEW CONTENT WITH NEW WAYS TO BREAK THINGS

Our scientists are still working on unraveling this mystery, however - oh look, a squirrel!   Hay - maybe we can integrate that into our game too?

Losing a ship you paid for in marines is genuinely irritating, so this is worth pinning down rather than leaving as a mystery. What would help: which build you're on, whether the Marimando showed up anywhere at all once the boarding resolved (fleet list, ships screen) or was gone immediately, and whether it was sitting in orbit or mid transit when you took it. If you still have a save from the turn before the capture, that is the most useful thing by a distance, because it turns this into something reproducible instead of something we guess at. I would rather not speculate on a cause without seeing it happen.
