Many animations do nothing when selected

Some of the animations is DeskScapes work, but many do not. An example is ripples. No matter the size of the image I select for the animation, when ripples is selected it does not show the preview with the animation, and when applied to all monitors it also does not show the animation. This done from a clean boot and the image and animation selection of ripples is the first action taken when opening DeskScapes. I have tried disabling DeskScapes and then reenabling it and this does not have any impact on the issue.

I am using DeskScapes 2026. This was a clean installation with no prior version of DeskScapes. 

I am also running Fences version 6.46 and Start11 version 2.7

My PC information is:

HP Z2 Tower G9
Windows 11 Business; 25H2 - OS build 26200.8893 - Experience Pack 1000.26100.334.0
1TB storage
Intel UHD Graphics 770 (128MB)
32 GB RAM - 440 MT/s
Intel Core i7-14700

Hello and thank you for the report.

I was able to reproduce this with the Ripple effect and now have that logged.  

  • Internal reference: ODNT-12545

Please know that other effects may be subtle, and hard to discern a difference on some wallpapers.  

As another tip, there are also "Desktop Effects" on another tab of the app that can be applied.  These can also be checked to see if they help find what you're looking for.
