August 11, 2026-KB5120708 .NET Framework for Win11 has thrown my desktop icon all over the place

Each restart of my desktop has my icons all over the place

I have upgraded to Start11 v2 before August 11th, 2026. I have experienced my desktop icons being tossed in a cup and thrown across my screens after rebooting when installing KB5120708. Today, the Nineteenth, is the third time of restarting the computer and finding the icons all over the place. Their settings were always on auto-arrange OFF. I turned off the align to grid after the second icons jump incident. Since I am still experiencing this and I did not find any known issues with the .NET Framework update, I am asking here if Start 11 v2 isn't playing well with Windows 11 resulting in this sudden repeating issue of desktop icons not remaining in place after a restart/reboot. 

I've tossed the IconCache.db and will try to put the icons back in the remembered place the best I can after this inquiry.

What version of Start11 V2 are you running?

Also how many monitors do you have and what position is your taskbar in?

Hello, version 2.74

Two identical monitors with monitor number two being primary and its taskbar is auto-hide at the bottom while number one is auto-hide at the top. This setup with this revision and the one prior worked without issue from July 28, 2026. Before is was v1 without issues but also without the ability to auto-hide top taskbars nor see their icon menus due to them expanding upwards. The REAL change appeared after that KB update's restart. Since, that is the kicker and no known issues by Microsoft with said update, next new change is Startup v2. 

I am seeking if the software could or has been reported doing what I've described....If not known, please just note. I would not want someone going out-of-the-way trying to resolve a non-Stardock issue. It is not right, yet prior inquiries, some blessed people have done just that. I really appreciate it, but again, it makes me uncomfortable receiving support for something that is nothing to do with their properties/work-job without compensation.
