As a long time fan of Stardock, I have a suggestion.  I loved what you did with the Windows startup because it is so much simpler.  Can you consider something for Windows 11 File Explorer?  I work with enough folders when I do my normal work and when I do work with multimedia, that it would be nice to have the ability to go back to folders you work with all the time.  That way if the folders don't automatically show up on the top section you don't have to recreate the total path to go back to where you just were in order to load or work with a file.  I looked at file pilot and even bought it.  I need something simple and easy to use and Windows version just isn't it.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you tried Fences? Fences have Folder portals Fences. You can setup these portals fences to your specified folder and it will be placed on your desktop. Should be something like you mentioned above.

You should also look at  Groupy 2. You could open multiple folders in one File Explorer window, and then save the group. Now you can open that saved group with one click. You can also PIN that saved group to the start menu or the taskbar.
