Issues with the vertical taskbar after the latest update

Hi,

I use Start11 mainly because it allows me to move the taskbar to the left side of the screen.

However, since the latest update, the vertical taskbar has become almost unusable. It already had a few minor issues before the update, but nothing serious.

Now, window previews no longer appear when I hover over an application icon. As a result, Alt+Tab is the only convenient way to switch between open windows.

Furthermore, clicking the icon of an application that is already open does not launch a new instance of it.

The Search and Task View icons are also no longer displayed, leaving an empty space where they should be.

Is there anything I can do to fix these issues?

Thank you.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please refer to this thread discussing, I believe, the same issue as what you post here: https://forums.stardock.com/542119/will-start11v2-be-compatible-with-the-new-windows-taskbar/page/1#4145862. There should be new Beta update release soon as mentioned by Dev in that thread.

Thank you,

What version of Start11 and Windows are you using?

I am guessing you update to a preview release of Windows which is what triggered this in which case updating to the Start11 v2.8 beta update should fix this for you.
