Search and Desktop Buttons aren't aligned properly

I recently updated to Start11 v2.8. Now, on my second monitor, the Start button is centered properly, but the Search and Desktop buttons are aligned to the left. To the right of the Start button, there's a gap big enough for these buttons, and then the rest of my application buttons are displayed. No matter what I do, short of aligning everything to the left, will correct this, and even when aligned left, they don't quite line up correctly. On my main monitor, everything aligns properly.

Maybe I should add that the second monitor is in Portrait Mode. I saw another issue that seemed to be related to Portrait Mode.

I tried switching to Landscape mode, and that didn't change anything. So, orientation isn't the issue.

Please update to the 2.81 beta update as it should resolve this.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. The Betas should be available in your Account Product page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

Thanks for the link. I installed the beta and restarted Explorer multiple times, but it didn't resolve the issue.

Hello,
Need few more details on your system and issue.

  1. Need to know your Windows 10/11 full version and OS Build number. Use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Start11 Enhance taskbar turn on or off?
  3. Do you have any other 3rd party application running in the background which also add or change something on your Taskbar.

Thank you,

I restarted my computer to address a different issue and found that it also corrected this issue. Not sure why restarting Explorer didn't fix it, but it's working correctly now. Thanks for the help!

Great, glad to hear that. Yes, sometimes reboot is needed to resolve some strange issue.
