| Then why did you buy it? |
It's one of life's mysteries. Some people just don't get it.
You paid that money to help support this site, its users, the MASSIVE, incomprehensible bandwidth bill and because you were thorough enough as a consumer to fully CHECK OUT the "product" before you purchased it.
The 50MB limit is MORE than enough and more than generous to download dozens of WindowBlinds, Wallpapers and cursors [ETC!] to FULLY figure out if this is the site for you.
""Just so I could download some skins and themes I''d get bored of in less than 3 days?""
If you didn''t decide this stuff would bore you within your first FREE 50MB, then I really have no answers for you... I *do* suggest, however, that you remove your attitude from the boards.

You can make your own skins and themes , then the download limit is lifted.
I didnt have to pay to download but I did get a membership as support for the site.
You must understand that if noone supported the site it would not exist.
At least you can walk away knowing you have done your part.
(but on the slim chance he is..)
Go sit on a pike!
Hey, hey. No need to be insulting people.
madcat75, you paid for access to this site for the next 2 years as well as two premium skin suites and the skin browser software (assuming that you bought a WC subscription).
If you didn't like the skins on this site, then you shouldn't have purchased a subscription to it. Insulting the skin authors who spend their free time making skins and allowing others to use them will not gain you friends here, however.
Sorry, Kristina...we are not responsible for your 3-day boredom issue....that is something you will have to work out for yourself.
All we do here is provide an outlet for skins for the majority of the world's premier skinners to air their wares for the public's benefit.
There is no designated 'brief' to make you want to like them for more than 72 hours.....that's beyond our terms of charter....

Now that's a lot of megabytes!
Wonder how many skins that is?
(I'm kidding)

Anyway, all I would like to say is that give it more time and maybe you will see something you like. You must have saw something about the program that made you get it. Sometime there will be buyers remorse but I guarantee that sooner or later you will get your 20 dollars worth.
i just think it really.. wrong.. for people to hit a download cap, pay 20$, download a bunch of stuff, then publically bash the company as not worth it. granted i don't know they hit that 50 meg cap before buying but it's a pretty good assumption, i think and it doesn't make that person any less obnoxious.
246 miles for $20 worth of gas is great mileage so far.
Kristina, you paid $20.00 for a WC subscription in order to have unlimited access and downloads from the site, yet out of the 2800 skins (this is only counting WB Skins) you only have 3 or 4 that you like. Wouldn’t it been better to browse thru the libraries and make sure there were enough skins that you like before purchasing the subscription.
NOW..... I can only assume that you have all the freeware and trial version of the programs. Correct?? Because if you had purchase, per example, WindowBlinds from Stardock, you would have unlimited downloads and you didn’t have to purchase a WC subscription.......... AND, you would also be enjoying all the cool extra features that only come with the full purchased version of the programs.
So for future references, always browse, ask and look into things before you spend any money.

Man, I've been a member since the begining and I've only downloaded 176MB. I guess I'm picky.
It certainly does make you wonder what kind of research this person did before purchasing. If $20 means so much as the post makes it sound, you don't make the purchase on a whim.
That isn't to say I haven't made some purchases I regretted even after doing some research. However according to the numbers presented by Frogboy this person has clearly benefited from the $20 spent. There are probably less than 50 skins that I really like enough to download and use. Its unrealistic to expect someone to enjoy a higher number than that. There skins for all different likes.
Also sometimes it goes in cycles.... there may be times where I like every skin, other times I wish a skin would show I liked.
