Why isn't there a docklet for objectdock that works as a desktop tool bar in the start menu would? When you go to tool bars and desktop you can have your entrie desktop in a menu and then you can hide the icons from the beatuful desktop picture you have up. PLEASE SOME ONE, MAKE A DESKTOP MENU DOCKLET. THANK YOU!!! MAIL ME AT [email protected] if you've seen this and i haven't.

You can actually do that with an XP taskbar toolbar. Right-click on the taskbar => Toolbars => New Toolbar. In the dialog that opens Select desktop. Then use DX or SysMetrix to hide your desktop icons

StartMenu Docklet by AndreasV sounds like what you want.
If you also want to get rid of recycle bin icon http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/tweakui is what you'll need.
