KarmaGirl....First of all I should correct one thing. It wasn't immediately after opening SDC, if was after clicking on a post...and this has been happening alot lately...I would click on a post and instead of the post coming up I would get a WC page stating my log in failed. But I would also see at the top right that I was logged in. But upon scrolling down to where you enter your info I would see a partial entry of my email address. This varies from one time to the next. But this last time I got Á*ä3²C¶ ’Q”t| and had no idea what it was.

And to answer your question KarmaGirl...I didn't have to close SDC and reopen it...just clicking on another post brought up a normal post and it didn't happen again...at least for that session.

FWIW, I''''m experiencing this also, but only if I click on someones nick in a message thread (i.e to see their ID # or desktop etc).

Further investigation reveals: in my case it only happens on the first attempt (at clicking someone''''s nick... etc) after opening a new thread. So if I make a second attempt (in the same thread), it succeeds.

Yet further checking: does not occur consistently when opening new threads. Jus tjumped to 2 new threads & it worked OK.

All the above from SDC.

I guess it is time for me to say that I had the same type of thing show up for me. Mine happened just opening up the site though, nothing to do with SDC for me. I stay signed in all the time and first it started off as part of my email address showing up then it got to be less of that "like more of the address would disappear" twice I have had the code looking thing in place of my mail address. I just cleared the cookies and was able to get in no problem.

If it happens to me again I will take a screenshot and let T-Man know anything I had done before hand.

I too am always logged in. Even when I get these "login Failure" message pages that come up, I can see the "Welcome WebGizmos" at the top right of the page.

But I just received a reply back from Stardock support, and they stated they were having server problems and that everything should be ok now. So far I haven't had this occur again, but I will post here again if it does.

Using IE6 on WinXP Home SP2....I get the same thing as webgizmos

I had only opened WC, email a Google for the day so far. I doubt if this helps in anyway but you never know.

Its sometimes has shown me logged in but I couldn't post or make comments. So I logged off and back on and it cleared everything up for me.

As I said in the post above that I haven't gotten the login failure bug lately. But this morning when I tried to post to this message I got the "Your banned from this server bug"

Yeah alot of times when i get onto the site that same(login failure) page is staring at me...
