Also, there are sites where almost everything about you can be found out. I found a ex-gf''s martial status, home address and everything about her. It had nothing to do with her online presense. All you can do is disguise your true identity. This is why I never use my online aliases with my real name. Then, you have spyware and trojans that can find your real name on your computer, and your credit information too if it is stored there. If you ever used your credit card online, the info about it is stored on your computer.
Once, I found a file on my computer with my online alias, my real name, home address, city and telephone number. Sure, I deleted it. But, no one can tell me how it got there. I was only using hotbar at the time. And, I started searching because my hard drive kept getting smaller and fast. It was hotbar that was the culprit. I found a file from them with over 1GB in size. I deleted it and it reappeared and kept growing. Then, I deleted Hotbar. And, Hotbar support just played stupid.
You have to be real careful online. It''s a jungle in here. This is why a good firewall, and virus program are a must.
