Permission denial

Anyone have a polite form mail I can borrow to deny permission to use my work for an application? Everything I come up with makes me sound like a pompous arse (or more so, I guess).

Or am I just being hyper-sensitive and should just outright say no?

Try this: I'm sorry to say this but I must deny your request to use my work for your application, I create my work for personal use, not commercail piloting, if you would like to discuss purchasing a custom icon suite for your application, I would be happy to discuss this matter with you further, howvere if not I am sorry but no.

If it is an application, tell them they can use it all they like as long asn they pay you enough to put your 3 kids through college

The solution is simple...but keep it to yourself.....[don't want too many people using it].

Simply explain that the skin in question was done in homage to a dear departed son/daughter [your choice] and it would not be proper to associate it with something 'commercial'.

Lateral thinking [deviousness] is best....
