Different size desktop icons with IconX

Hello,
I use IconX to get a mousover effect on my desktop icons and to enlarge them to 48x48. Now I would like to have just a few even larger - and with the same mousover animation. Is that possible?
The IconX settings seem to get applied to all icons at once. Would it be difficult to rebuild the IconX effects with DesktopX to make a larger icon?

That's definitely a feature, that Stardock should add to IconX.
Is it difficult to rebuild the behaviour with DesktopX? (growing on mouseover, shadow moving, changing color when ed, having the normal icon context menue)

Nah, its not that difficult, Just make a 'shortcut' under type of object, then set the image by clicing "change..." next to default appearance. That will do it for the basics. Shadows are available under the "states" tab.

I second the question as to making IconX z-order differently. If I send an object to the back, it will be behind the icons, but next time I move it it pops back to the surface. So they CAN be drawn over objects, it just seems there's not a standard way to make them that way.
