Using the wallpapers found at wincustomize

I have no idea how to contact the administrators of this page, so now I'll try posting my request here, and hope that the person it concerns will read it.

I've just recently made a web page (in Norwegian), containing free stuff for celluar phones, and because of that, I'll need a lot of cool wallpapers. The reason I ask you, is that you have a large archive of great wallpapers for free. My question is:
Can I use the wallpapers posted on www.wincustomize.com in my web page?

Actally, I don't have an idea if I should ask you or the creators of the wallpapers, but posting this here, may let you all know about my request.

Hope you can help me on this one!
Regards, Anders.

P.S.
The web-page can be found on http://mobil.web-utvikling.com

You need to get each individual author's permission. I am pretty sure that most evryone will allow you. If you don't get permission we will hunt you down. Don't mess with the community spirit around here. You will lose horribly.

It took the author's alot of time to make the walls. Simply email each author. Most people have their email addy's in their profiles. Most people will respond pretty quickly. Some may not.

NightTrain2002 is correct.

You will NEED to contact each wall artist for specific permission.

Nothing less is acceptable....

Or, post how they can submit to your site and let them find you instead.

That is going to take sometime to do
Ah well, if ever you like some of my walls you can post any of them.
Good luck!

It might not be a bad idea if you were to create a list in a post here at Wincustomize of the wallpapers you would like to use on your site....making sure to name the Wall and the Artist...asking permission...

just a suggestion...I don't even know if that is ok to do here or not....you might want to ask an administrator before you decided to do it that way

just a thought....

Most wallpaper authors will grant permission, as long as they assured they will be credited on your site for their work, and that have control of the work. That is, they can easily update and/or have the wallpaper removed from the site if they so desire.
This may cause you a bit of additional work, but if you wish to use others images, you must respect their copyright.

footsie's idea might work for getting permissions (but there's no guarantee that all the authors will see this thread). You could save a copy of the thread as proof of permission. What do you think Jafo?

You might try leaving your email addy and message on each wallpaper you want to use. Each author will see it there the fastest.

A copy-paste of permissions gathered here on the board would be more than adequate.....particularly as the authors would be 'logged in' and verifiable as the source of the consent....
