WC Skin?

The site is changing, but it's still only a PSD and can be altered as many was as you can imagine... but what do you think of:

For a WC light theme?.. Still deciding font colors/etc.. But most of it is done and I'm not sure how to go about implementing it as a theme.. Any suggestions, comments, help is appreciated.

..was told it was a "bit plain".. so if you have suggestions, feel free ...hehe.. I'm new, remember?.. I'm only me, but I learn. [plus it's my first "skin"].. Go easy on me

[not everyone can remember the newbie feeling but I'll never forget it - I remember ALL]

Whoa....that's weird, what happened to the other thread....still think it's a nice skin

Looks pretty good. Some of the gradiants could use a little touch up. Oh and you have been around awhile now. You can't use the newbie defense anymore.

The other thread was deleted because I didn't ask permission to use someone's name in there.

Sorry.

I like it very much and don't think it is plain at all. It is really nice and clear, and easy to read as well. But you might be able to change the colour in the head-bars? This would break up the grey a little.

My question is: will it load fast? I am on dial up and loading time is important to me.

Well done

Well, it's not even a skin yet aufisch.. I'm just toying with the notion of a complete nobody [me] making a skin for the world's largest, best desktop customization community.

Graphically, it's a pretty minimal skin because the tables [??] would be nothing more than a hexidecimal color [ie: grey] - the only images, persay, would be the title image, part of the long bar at the top then the rest of the elements. [containing small images?.. eg. a leftcap image, a rightcap image, etc..]

As for font colors [totally hypothetically speaking, I'd never expect a skin from me would ever get used here lol..] I'm open to suggestions and I thank you all for commenting thus far.

I'm new - mold me, shape me haha..

You can submit site skins at Lots of skins. If all fails here , give it a try.

I liked the previous one better, this one IMHO looks too similar to the Universal Metal theme, not the same, but it has similarities

Oh, oops.. I'm not too familiar with skins, so if I've ripped/stolen someone's idea, I DO apologize.. For a second I thought I was being semi-original.....

Not a rip....just reminds me of it. If your not familiar with Universal Metal go here https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=themes

I thought it had similarities too! Cool.... you know what they say about great minds.

Spyder....it'd be logical to do prior research.....actually check out the existing site skins before attempting your own.

Design isn't just a blank sheet of paper and imagination....

You need a pencil too. Pencil is key.
