Where can I download sysMetrix version 3.03?? The creator website is down...please help

I've been trying to get this program for two day but cant seem to find it online. All the links I've appear to be the creator but the site is down. Can someone please help me get this software downloaded or maybe suggest something similar (or better)?

thanks!

Hey, thanks for the link...however, thats 3.20 and the skin that I want to use says 3.03 is required. I installed and tried to up date this 3.20 but get a connection error. I tried to load the skin but its distorted. Any more magic links?

thanks!

You lost me on "connection error". Anything that works on 3.03, will work with 3.20. They changed (if I remember right) the installer. What version do you have installed now?

I followed your link, and installed 3.20. I thought maybe this version would update to 3.03 via the check for update button in the configuration. Anyway, the skin I downloaded says you must have at least 3.03, I tried to load the skin into this 3.20 but its all screwy...looks like it went through a blender. I'm new to this so maybe there's a secret to using user made skins other than just putting the skin folder into the sysmetrix folder.

thanks for the help,

What skin is it? We'll see if it's you or it.

BTW: 3.03 is about 4 builds ago...3.20 is the newest.

Isn't 3.2 newer than 3.03?  Wouldn't it go up to 3.1 and then to 3.2 and so on to 3.9 and then 4?

whoops, you're probably right about the version sequence.../bonk

so i guess my question should change to why it doesnt display correctly.

Hmm, that IS strange. The theme does not work on load, but what you have to do, is once you loaded the theme, go to Theme Settings and have it point to Veristic.bmp, its in the directory of the skin. Don't know why it doesn't work on load...but it works fine after.

Yikes, gm

Shane,

It's you. Save your skins in a temp folder and uninstall SysMetrix. Then delete the C:\Program Files\SysMetrix Folder. Re-boot and now install 3.20. Move your skins back and load that clock and all should be right with the world...

Mine worked, Hus, what version you running?

I'm using 3.2...

I tried both light and dark, both didn't work on load. The preview is broken too, but once you point it to the main file, it works fine...very wierd.

I remember that one wouldn't load for me correctly so I dl to a folder, unzipped it, and then pasted the folder in my themes folder.  There were a couple like that.

There was some thing about these clocks......Hus, see if in Config/Positioning/Visibility and Effects you have 'Re-Paint' checked.

I tried redownloading it, thats what I get on load.

All I did was click that button, browse to 'Veristic Dark.bmp', and all was fine. Maybe something got screwed up in the INI? Xymantix should probably just repack and reupload...

Got it now, it's pointing to the wrong bmp for the background file...guess a goofed line of code. Thanks all for your help, but one last question, what do you guys use to create these skins? It looks like fun.

The skin 'folder' name should be the same as the main bitmap name for the skin to load correctly automatically.

If the main bmp is a different name it won't load on install and will need to be 'pointed to'.

At least that's what I've found over time...
