is there an 'Evil only' empire?

just wondering, is there an empire out there someplace where the only thing required for membership is that you have to be Evil? im talking about an empire where you actually get kicked out if your overall morality is not evil.

Im considering joining an empire like that once i get my overall morality from "neutral" to "chaotic evil", which should happen once i finish and submit the game im working on right now. however, im not sure if there is an empire like that out there.

Being the self-appointed monitor of empire alignments, the answer depends on how big of an empire you are talking about. No such empire exists in the top 10. Almost certainly not in the top 25, but I will need to double check that to be sure. If it does exist, it is almost certainly a very small one or two person operation.

the reason im wondering is because i dont know if the empire administrator of the empire im in right now is even still playing this game anymore.

oh by the way, i dont really care what the score is too much. i just think it would be neat to be in an "evil only" club.

Found one. The Alien Alliance. Ranked #30. Open empire, one player named Bucman, seems active. No stated evil only policy, but the only player is very evil. Everyone else up higher on the empire list had at least one good or neutral player. There are probably many more one player wonders farther down the list that also qualify, but I am not too interested in going farther down the list looking at small fry. The Spymaster wastes too much time tracking the bigger fish already. :)

What about our GROSS empire? We're pretty evil. At least we were. With the exception of Staffa, i mean. GROSS was founded on the ideal of getting rid of the slimy aliens, which makes the empire quite evil IMO. I guess people can play however they want, that's what's great about democracy. But for me, evil is the way to go.

GROSS does not meet Hairy's required parameters. According to the Spymaster's intelligence files over in http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=75130 GROSS is only 60.7% evil. Maybe a little more now that we added a few members. I turned good, but some of the new crew are evil. The requirement was for a totally evil empire where not being evil would get you dismissed. No empire I know of meets this exact criteria, so I found the closest equivelant. GROSS was not the closest match, though we are evil.

if there isnt an "evil-only" empire, would anyone be interested in starting one? if someone starts one, i probably will join, as long as the logo or the name isnt stupid. i might start up one myself when i get my overall morality from neutral to evil if no one makes an empire like that by then.

Here's an idea for a new empire. It's called G.R.O.S.G.R.O.S.S.B.T.A.T.G. which stands for
Get Rid Of Slimey G.R.O.S.S. Because They Are Too biG.
Which fully expanded stands for:
Get Rid Of Slimey Get Rid Of Get Rid Of Slimey alienS Because They Are Too biG.

I prefer G.R.O.S.E.W.O.T.A.M.

Get Rid Of Slimy Empires With Only Ten Active Members

hee hee hee ;)

Long live the GroseWotams!!! :D

Hey Hairy taco have you met my friend bald chili?(LMAO) Its better to stick with a bigger bad empire than with a small evil empire. Bigger empires can do a lot more damage to those who would dare ressist them.

Sorry Staffa - when you posted your strategies you stated that you only play good (at mascho level) because it's impossible to win at Mascho as evil. I guess you've found a way. So i just assumed you were a 'good' guy. My humble apologies :)

Gerakken: Amazing, we are no longer quite evil enough. Had to happen. In the beginning i was quite good myself. :)

er, i dont think i ever said it was impossible to win
as evil, I just said it was easier, which it is.

If I did say it, i hope i meant only for me at my
then current skill level, things change :)

Evil empires tend to have superior military capalities as well as more durable weapons technology.

yea, but you pick your own abilities in GC. i can even pick the "pacifist" as my party and make my empire evil.

actually, that is what im doing in the game im playing right now. i picked the "pacifist" party, and of right now, my morality is "Demonic" (5).

a fnord is more or less something that was made up by crack conspericy believers (i think). just type in 'fnord' in a search engine and you will get a ton of joke sites, such as "If a tree were to fall in the forest, and no one was around to hear it. What would it sound like?" answer: "fnord". ;)

Well I'm not so much a conspiracy believer. The Illuminati was the only thing I have read about. It's something I won't take literally, but it does kinda make you wonder what our government is *really* up to.

Here I thought "Fnord" was an homage to the Far North Off-Road Duellists, for those of you fellow old farts who remember Car Wars from the late '80s.
