How do I keep Skin Studio from opening a new PSP everytime?

Hi, I've started making my first Window Blinds skin today & I am using PSP8.

I can't figure out how to stop Skin Studio from opening a new PSP every time I double click on an image.

I've looked everywhere I can think of....I know it's possible because it used to work, but that was before I had to reformat my PC.

I've already fixed it where PSP is the default image editor, but when I double click...each image opens a new PSP....which is time consuming, ya know?

Before, when it was how I want it, I could right click on ANY image on my computer & choose Open With PSP & if PSP was already running then it would restore itself and the image would appear. Then it would only open PSP if it wasn't running....same with Skin Studio, it would only open PSP if it wasn't running, but now it opens it every time.....

I'm having the same problem with Icon Developer.....
Is it a computer setting...I have XP Home Edition...
Is it a HP setting.....
or
Is it a setting in the program itself...Skin Studio, Icon Developer, Logon Studio???

Under the section "Adjusted Image", (In SkinStudio), click on the down arrow right next to the "Edit" button. Select "Shell Open" first, then PSP.

In SkS go to Tools > Preferences > Editing > Image Editors > make sure "Shell Open" is at the top of the list. That how mine is set, and I use PSP 8. Also make sure PSP is associated with the proper files. :)

You are a life saver!! For real!! When I added PSP in there to make it my default program, I moved it to the top.....Now that I moved "Shell Open" to the top.....I can double click 'till my hearts content....and no NEW PSP....just open the image I want IN PSP!!!!!!.....Whoo Hoo!!!!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!
