do you mean for me to del the CPU monitor all together? That sorta defets the purpose of what I am trying to do. All I want is for it to ignore that one process. A simple no would have been fine.

You didn't get a no because no isn't the answer. If you look at the setting, you'll see you can change it to read any process you want (or you can delete it). Your choice.

Now, if you don't feel like playing with the program a little, then you're right....the answer is no.

OK I am either missing something here or I have a diferent version that you. When I right click on sysmetrix and go to config then down to Theme Settings all I see is a picture of my theme and location ect... I have looked threw all the sections that are in there and I don't see it. So what am I missing?

The CPU Usage is listed under both of them due to the way that I have it set up but that is not the problem. I don't want it to look at the process called "CoolSRV.exe" I do want it to look at all the others. It takes all the "System Idle Process" clocks and makes them actually Idle rather than what Windows calls Idle. Problem being that SysMetrix looks at that as being part of the actual CPU Usage. I want it to treat it the same way that it does the process called System Idle Process and ignore it. I still want the Histogram and the Text to be dusplayed on the screen.

I use to have Hardware Monitor installed and it had the CPU cool option....as I remember MBM would not by-pass that reading with CPU Cool running and the reading would be incorrect. I believe you're stuck with the reading you're getting as there is no work around in MBM that I'm aware of. There is also no way to point SysMetrix to another .exe. MBM coding is the problem and there's nothing you can do about that. You can try DesktopX for CPU usage and it might work for you.

I was using CoolMon which had a option in it that I could tell it not to look at a paticular exe file that was runing. In this case the CPU Cool exe. I was hoping that this program could do that cuz it is a hell of a lot nicer looking than just some HTML txt on my screen. But if not then I don't have to run CPU Cool. Not that big of a deal to me. thx for the help.
