Desktop X...How to install themes

Sorry...but I searched this group and couldn't find the answer. How do I install a theme that I download from wincustomize.com? Thanks in advance!!

Well, then fire up Desktop X and double-click on the theme, it should apply it. If not right-clik on te DX icon in your system tray, "Load Theme", then just the theme in the list.

The theme is a zipped file. After unzipping in a desktop folder, I open DesktopX, and choose"load theme". I then choose browse, then the folder where the unzipped theme is. Nothing shows. DestopX thinks the folder is empty.

just double click on the theme file... it will load itself and copy itself to the themes directory in the desktopX program files folder

Just downloaded a different theme. Got the theme.exe file and double-clicked it. Dialog box says that a newer version of DesktopX was used to make this theme and it may not work with my version. I have the lasest version...What's up with this sh*t?

2.19b is the latest version. You need to update through stardock central.

Stardock Central doesn't offer an upgrade. They want me to pay another $19.95. That's not going to happen...so thanks for all the help...I really appreciated it !!
