i hate listestep i went through a lot of crap to sign up for the website and now when i log in and try to go to downloads it says i have to log in again. and then i go to log in again and it does the same thing. is there any other way to get litestep?

What the heck happened to litestep anyways? Has it stalled, or has everyone just given in to Exploder? DesktopX doesn't completely replace Exploder as a shell, right? It always had such promise... or has it gotten so stable that it is stalled to a finish?

Dmer's original HE theme was pretty ancient.....pre OTS themeing standards and limited to one resolution.
Even my original remake was a 24.6 dev-build version dating to Jan, 2001
Things have moved on a tad since then...

It's rock solid. But then again, I can't recall it ever crashing and I've been using it for many years now.

Good heavens man.....I crash LS one way or another 3 times a day after every meal....one of the problems associated with converting ancient themes to a newer format.....some modules never want to play together....
