Well, we were going to wait for 3 months, but oh heck! The download was long (dial-up) and install was about 45 minutes. We've checked all software programs we have and have found no problems. Good Fortune to everyone else.

Neato burrito! Its great that at least some are experiencing no problems with SP2 (so far).
Personally I'll be holding out a bit longer - still too many reports of "broken" applications (not only Stardock applications)
Re-install of XP is due in a short time though - still debating wether or not to slipstream my current installment with SP2, we'll see

Works perfectly for me...but then I know what I'm doing
Having spent many years in IT Support at least 99% of all problems are down to the user.

So for the rest of us Fuzzy - what if any conflict issues did you experience particularly in relation to Stardock applications and how did you resolve them ?

Possibly one problem. Anyone having problems with the Wizard not wanting to copy files to a CD? This Wizard (apparently) from SP2's gift has something called High Mat. I am 48, and all I want to do is copy important files to disk...not be all creative!

Although we did not have any problems whatsoever with WinCustomize or Stardock products, our problem with the Wizard (copy files to CD) apparently was due to SP2. The Wizard now writes files to CD as it did before. After discussing this issue with a gentleman of knowledge on the Tech Support Guy Forum and review of all the subsequent problems people are having (some popping up "days" after one installs SP2) we got rid of SP2. It was interesting to note that MicroSoft's Security Center could not even recognize that we had Norton AntiVirus. My opinion is that the release of SP2 has caused more problems than make life easier and safe. We just cannot understand how such a corporation can employ thousands of people, but yet have so many problems with their software. Further, we have never had any virus on our computers in all the years and presently feel that this SP2 is just another failure and junk too boot!

There is an update via Symantec live update for the MS Security Center problem

Thanks Michael! We did get that, but no change. Microsoft's Security Center still could not figure out on its own that we had Norton. Now that we are back to SP1, we will stay here for 2-3 months until MicroSoft irons out problems with their own XP software and SP2.

I'm going to hold out a bit longer. Here is a list from Micriosoft of programs known to have functionality loss...I'm sure there are others not discovered yet.

Personally I use nero for all that CD Burning but I will see if the wizard is messed up on my system as well.
