I thought we answered this one already. Right click the download button and choose save as. Pick your location. Normally I just choose the desktop and you can install it by double clicking the file.

I'm happy that I can dowload and enjoy windowblinds, but why I can't keep them for ever?Every time I have to reformat the harddrive I loose all the previuosly downloaded windowblinds and have to start collecting them again. Once upon the time I could save the windowblind after I downloaded it, but now it will go into the aperance box and that will be the end of it,I think thats just a vaste, what was wrong with the old method when one could download and save the blind for good?

Huh?.... Lemme get this straight.. You downloaded WindowBlinds, then proceeded to download a bunch of skins, then you reformatted [wiped the drive entirely] and started over and you're wondering where the downloaded WB skins went? umm..

.. Gone. Did you make back-up CD's? You can "keep" the skins as long as you wish. Not sure if I understand the question so if my answer is off, I apologize. :o

C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds
They're are there. Just make a backup of the skins folders. I've reformated a few time, and I've changed computers a few times, but I still carry my old skins around from one fresh system to another.

When you download, are you saving the file? Nothings changed as far as I remember.

You can reformat your hard harddrive but you don't know to save the important stuff.

Why don't you just right click the download button and choose save as, and download the skins to your desktop and install it from there? Then, the skins will stay in the original wba format. And, you can backup all your skins to CDR if you need to reformat your hard drive. Another solution is to get a external hard drive or a second hard drive and use one of those for backup in case you need to reformat your primary hard drive.
