.suite problem

Hi,
I've got a small problem applying new Desktop themes on my pc. I have all needed programs installed but when I try to apply a suite file in WinStyles, there is an error: "You must select a skin to be downloaded" (also when I click on the advanced-button, the "suite contents"-window is empty). I've got this problem on every .suite-file I've downloaded, yet.
Thx for help.

if you have Theme Manager (formally know as WinStyles) it should work.

Theme Manager seems to break Winstyles. I understand that it was meant to replace it. But, it doesn't seem to work as well as Winstyles to me. I just install the suite that installs theme manager and extract the suite and uninstall theme manager and reinstall winstyles(since theme manager breaks it). It is strange that version 1.5 of Winstyles is the mentioned program of choice in the suites library and not Theme Manager.

I have heard some mention that the full version of Theme Manager(free) must be installed before using suites that came packaged with it. You can try that option here. https://www.stardock.com/products/thememanager/downloads.asp

Ah, now it almost works correctly. But my taskbar- and my SysMetrix-Designs, still don't wanna change. What could be the reason?

Try, reinstalling the associated programs. Maybe their link to Winstyles was broken when theme manager was installed.
