My Moms' Dog Max died Last Night.

Those of you that know me, know that my Mom died Six months ago from Lung Cancer at the Age of 54. I went all the way through Chemo with her and ran her business, until my Father sold it. When She died my Father was quite the Bastard, and devoided himself of all her Pets (2 Birds and 1 Wolfes Hound.) I took the animals, into my Herd, here. Now last night something Terrible happened, Max the wolfes Hound slipped His, Collar and apparently went a roving. Now that is not such a bad thing as Dogs go, and everyone gets carefree and footloose now and then. Unfortunately he met some tragic end, and made it back to the yard, only to expire paces from the House. I am now coming to my tethers end. This is becoming one of the last straws I think. I just want folks here to know that if I have been snappish, or short with anyone, or overly officious, demeaning, or rude in any way, I Humbly apologize. I am not normally a overbearing person, and am usually quite flippent and jovial. I am not dealing with all of this very well, and have been battling depression, tooth and nail. Anyways thanks for allowing me to get that off my chest. I did not want to bring anyone down, but as I have barely left the house in six, month I had to tell someone other than my immediate family.

Cygnus, I feel so sad for you. Deal with your grief the best way for you, don't worry about all us. Unfortunately your father is dealing with his in the negative way. Please see a doctor, you can get temporary help dealing with this before it becomes self destructive. Please think about it?

Thank you for your kind words. HG if you want to talk or find out how anything works, or want to get anything off your chest, let me know, or send me an email.
One thing I recommend is Hospice care, no matter how you think you can take care of someone, when it get rough, it is alot harder than you think. My Mom refused Hospice Help, and we took care of her towards the end, and I tool care of Her at the Very end, and that sticks with ya. Always keep hope, aive.
