Polite request for vampire theme

I have a few desktop backgrounds that I have created by editing some screencaps of my favorite vamps. I have no idea how to make a skin, and unfortunately, I don't think I have the patience. I used to make RealPlayer skins, and that drove me out of my mind. I'm sure themes are much harder.
Here's what I'm looking for in a nutshell...
I need a WindowBlinds theme, IconPack, WinAmp 5, LogOn and BootScreen (although I can live without the BootScreen, and maybe even the WinAmp) I'm looking for something distinctly vampish. I am hoping for 2 styles, in 2 colors each (could easily be done by 2 different people?). Style 1 would be sleek, with clean lines, a shiny look, maybe even some wispy/ethereal looking doo-dads. I've seen skins like Assimilated, that have transparent bits, something with see-through parts would be awesome. Style 2 would be more rugged, perhaps even tattered looking, I would be immensely impressed if someone could do a torn rusty/metallic theme with blood dripping. I basically need 2 colors, or at least the ability to force coloring, so it will match backgrounds with black/red or black/blue. It is imperative that it not only be good looking, but easy to read, and that the words don't spill off the buttons like they do in Colony (Though that is a cool theme). I like the way the taskbar buttons go in CopperDeck, maybe something with that effect. If anyone is interested, I can e-mail my backgrounds. I'm also always looking for new vampire images. Perhaps what I want has already done and someone can be kind enough to direct me to it. I would greatly appreciate a custom suite though. The artist would definately receive my eternal gratitude! I have some basic ideas for the icons too, something like a cross between wrought iron and vines (kinda tribal-ish).
I appreciate you taking the time to read this, and if you are willing to talk with me more about this idea, please e-mail [email protected], as I may not get back to this board in the near future. (I work a lot, & don't have much time to play with my computer ) I just want 'er to look cool when I log on
Thanks again,
~*BlueDragon*~

I think a Skinner would want a little more than your eternal gratitude.

Well, whatever it takes, . I don't have a lot of spare cash, but I can probably swing something. I can also advertise the skinner on my vampire web site, La Taniere du Vampire. I'm planning on adding a page with regular desktop themes, WindowBlinds, backgrounds and other stuff. Free advertising is always good, right?
I'm going to print some screencaps from themes that I like, and then try to use them as a guide to draw what it is I'm looking for. I'm sure if I can get the idea drawn out, and maybe play with it in PSP, it would take a lot of the work out of it for the skinner, and maybe someone would be more willing to do it.

ok, this is a truly pathetic attempt at drawing what I need, but here it is anyway. http://www.bluedragoncreations.com/temp/myimage.jpg
What I was going for was that basic design, but with the ged parts looking like glass, like the buttons in CopperDeck, and the dark parts to look like polished stone. Unfortunately, when I scanned this & tried to work with it, it came out horrible, but I guess you'll get the basic idea.

You know, most of us started skinning because we had something specific in mind we wanted as a skin, and the best person to do exactly the skin you want is nobody else but yourself.  Take the time it takes, in can be a few weeks or even a few months, but if you put enough work and patience into it, I'm sure you will accomplish something you will be proud of.

Yeah, my friend, eternal gratitude will not come close, not even if you are Kristen Dunst..hmm well maybe...na...

If you don't have time, imagine how much time it takes to make one skin. Then, you want icons, logon screens and two styles? And all for eternal gratitude? I truly hope your idea of eternal gratitude is green and can be used to buy things like food for the time spent making your theme.

Did you read the thread about "requesting skins"?

There is a theme called Translvania. Maybe a vampire wall added to that theme might work for you. And, it was all for eternal gratitude.

Definately. It looks like you have a decent start there too. I think you should polish that up a bit, make a matching window, and dig in to SkinStudio.

We have set up a skin workshop here http://skins.skinartistry.com/news.php to help new skinners as yourself to learn how to create a skin and to help with poor decisions in design. It a little more help than the messageboards, as there are many experienced skinners there just to help out.

You guys don't get it. He wants you to do it for him.
Come on MikeB314, you're a great skinner. How about some eternal gratitude as payment for one of your great skins?

If it works, can I have the next skin request please? And, I'll be eternally grateful too.

Heck, why did I even bother to learn windowblinds? I just could make requests and be eternally grateful. (Chas, you need a good spankin' from some wild young female)
