Window jumps to left

Just purchased ObjectDesktop and installed latest version of WB, and now windows jump off the screen when they load up. Also happens when unrolling windows (as in MacOS). Is there a reason for this? More importantly, can I stop it happening?

Did you uninstall all the shareware version of the programs before you installed the purchased versions. Strange things have been known to happen when the shareware versions are overwritten with the full versions. Uninstall everything, shareware and full versions, erase all the directories for Object Desktop, and start fresh. Then, install the purchased versions of the programs.

Listen to chas and try rebooting. sometimes my windows get goofed up like you are explaining and if I reboot twice, yes twice it fixes it. It happens very rarely but a couple times a year.

Thanks for your advice, guys. Didn't solve the problem, but I've narrowed it down to a problem with the ObjectBar skin I'm using - all the windows mysteriously align their right edges to a certain screen position... wierd.. will contact the author and see if he knows anything about it! Thanks anyway guys

You must be using some other OS system than XP, huh? Hence, the need for Object Bar? Oh well, sorry.

Seriously, if you purchased Object Desktop, you can definitely get support from Stardock for this problem. Try the Windowblind newsgroups, and try Stardock support via their email addresses in the about section on the left of this page. Make sure you provide your OS system, and system specs. Also, provide them with any updates you have done tp your OS. Such as WindowsXP SP1 or SP2. You are a valued customer and we were just joking around because its a strange problem. Good Luck.
