How do I get rid of this splash screen? (Screenshot)

I have a downloaded version of IconX and the following screen appears every time I start win XP:

I don't have stardock central or any other stardock product and I really don't want to install anything else just to be able to get rid of this annoying splash screen

Is there maybe something I can edit in the registry or anything like that? Any comments help!

I think you can disable it by simple clicking on the splash screen when it appears.

Sorry... that's not right, but the instruction to kill it is on the splash screen (Press Escape to hide)

Koasati..I'm blonde but not THAT much. Of course that was the first thing I tried. It certainly gets rid of the splash right away but then it comes back every time I start Windows! I need to disable it for good. Please help!

Open Stardock Central, go to TOOLS, then SETTINGS. Uncheck the Enable MCP SmartStartup option?

DOH.. you don't have Stardock Central? How did you get IconX then...
I take it you have the shareware version? If this is the case, I have no clue how to get rid of this without registry editing.

Well shucks, I was sure that was the answer.   I have no idea how to kill it.  When I have something running at startup that requires MCP, the splash is gone so quickly I've never been bothered by it.

I have been looking for a good solution to getting screenshots posted without hosting a web site.

uncheck the star on startup option and then instead just copy a shortcut of iconx into your startup folder (start>programs>startup...)
