Creating a theme, that has 140+ Icons(Tiles) in it, and watching it languish in a catagory that gets no posted "Newest Additions." I can see the logic behind not posting all of the ObjectDock Items individually (to Newest Additions), as they would run the catagoy additions, crazy, but an entire theme is not a slight accomplishment, and should merit some kind of mention. The inequalities afforded to the Dock Themes, should not be equated with dock Items (individual.) This negates theme work, or relegates it to a lower status IMHO. I mean, we know it is easy to make a dock, but to expand that dock into a theme, is another story all together, also not a Dock Background does not equate a Tabbed Background, there is alot of work and tinkering that goes into those skins, on a par with colorpad, or some of the smaller skins, and those said smaller skins get recognition, whereas the OB's and OB+T's do not.
I know I have just started back to skinning again, and Icould pick some other topic to address, but as I am whetting my whistle and starting with OB+T, I figured this was at least appropriate to discuss? Any chance this issue is or will be addressed in WinCusto V 2K5?

I feel your pain.....as an example of how poorly a skin can do without showing up in Newest Additions....These two docks which are identical except font color and were released at the same time....one got rated and showed up in new additions...one didn't. I also posted these over at Skinartistry....can you tell which didn't hit the newest addition list here....

Alpha Tabs White Font:
1318 Downloads at WC...Rating 10....Comments 10
Alpha Tabs Dark Font:
312 Downloads at WC...Rating 6(initial Journeyman Auto-Rating)....Comments 4

Same two skins at Skinartistry 192 for the White Font...160 for the Dark Font

That's one of the reason why I didn't include a theme with my dock icon packs. Too much tinkering.

This won't be as much of an issue on WC2K5 because there will be an entire mini-site dedicated to the newest editions instead of that lame little bar on the right.

If you click on the heading "newest additions" you will get a much longer list. Just in case you're interested...or didn't know.

Hiya werewolf...yep I know that, WC's got the OD library setup so that only Newest additions that are rated high enough show up because of the volume of submissions...single icon submissions. Same thing they do with the Walls library. But this all appears to be a mute issue as Frogboy has pointed out
