Get rid of Choose your Operating System and startup

When i wanted to change my boot screen a went to this site, downloaded a few, and bootskin. However bootskin did not work for me it would make my computer go to the BSoD every boot. (I would like help for that also). Anyways then i download Style XPand played around till it finally worked. unfourtunalty i now have to either wait 30 sec at boot of choose between to "operating systems" Windows XP Pro. [Bootskin] or Windows Xp Pro. And normal windows xp pro does the normal boot skin. I know it is only 30 sec, but it is fairly annoying. Thanks for any help!

There should be an option to change that time in Control panel (classic view)/System/Advanced/Startup and Recovery settings

Edit c:\boot.ini. It's hidden and system. Or it's under My Computer / Properties / Advanced / Startup and recovery / Settings.

As for bootskin, you can try the other builds up there, but its dependent on the machine.
