If you use IE make sure you get the new patch.

And for that reason...it would be nice if we could have an alternative browser open up when clicking on links in SDC. This is the only place I can't get rid of IE.

You can force SDC to use Stardock Central Web Browser for internet links Look under General in Settings

The web browser in SDC uses the IE browser engine...... you'd be accomplishing nothing.

Would it be possible for SDC to use firefox instead of IE or be configured to provide a choice?

That would be nice, but given Stardock's relationship with Microsoft I doubt that would work very well for them. Maybe someone will write a SDC extension for FF.
