WindowBlinds & DesktopX

Can you have both of these installed doing differnt things? I know windowblinds is for changing the appearance and desktopx is for so much more. Does it hog more CPU if u are using both? Can one do both instead of installing both?

WB does quite a lot. DX also does quite a lot. Fortunately they do completely different things - the only thing that comes close is that WB skins the XP taskbar, and DX can also be used to *make* a taskbar of sorts - but that's not its main purpose in life. I suggest you try out both of them and see what each does. Frankly WB's CPU and memory use is likely to be minimal (better than using Microsoft's style, even!).
