Hi all, Widgets from desktopx dosen't remember the postions on the desktop after a reboot. When I had 98 it used to. But now with Xp Home they don't. Anyone know whats causing this or how to make them remember manually?

I'm presuming you have a bunch of widgets running at any given time:

Load up all the widgets you want on your desktop, then save them as a theme in DesktopX. If they don't load into the right places upon reboot, at least you'll be able to re-load them all at once, by loading the theme you saved. They should load back into the same positions they were in when you saved them as the theme.

...hope that helps at least a little.

(err... that is, of course, assuming you have'nt already done that )

This is something that will be fixed up in the next build.

Most of the time I do save them as themes. When I startup the widgets appear in the right place but maybe 2 seconds later they move. The core calender, core weather, and the sticky notes do this but the desktopx icon loaded with the default theme does not. I guess I can just wait for the next build till it is fixed.
