Problems with MP3 Player, second message

Ok, I am going to try this again, last week I posted a problem I am having with the MP3 player in GalCiv. I don't see the message anymore. The MP3 player will load the list, but will only scroll through the titles quickly. I can never get it to play. And since it seems, instructions for it and some other parts of this game are hard to come by, I figured this was the place to post.

How about a little help folks

Glenn

It depends on how you are creating your playlists.
Remember to create it and save it in your playlist folder in GalCiv, rather than save it in your MP3 folder and then moving it over. Your playlist will not record your MP3 paths correctly if you create it by the latter method.

If this is not the problem, please explain your condition and your procedures in creating your playlist.

I am having some problems with the built in player too now.

I have used it for some time without any problems, and always did this:
I have the game on E drive.
I have the playlist saved on the root of E drive. (too lazy to type the location otherwise).
What I do is when I want to listen to other songs I just overwrite the current one (save as, yes overwrite) and then the game when it starts it automaticaly loads the updated/new one withouth any problems.
All that worked till about 2 days ago. I did a playlist with all the Eminem songs (I wonder if thats the reason :-) ) and when I stated the game the song names at the bottom of the screen would just skip over and over withouth any sound playing.
Hmm, I thought. So I replaced the playlist with another one, same thing...wtf? Strange.
Now I just play music with QCD, but I would prefer to use the built in player because it automaticaly pauses and such when there are events to show, which I like very much.
What could be the problem? Why something that used to work just fine suddently stopped? A bug?

And something else, not as important, any possibility of having ogg support?

Wdll: check the m3u file to make sure that the paths were saved correctly. It only does the cycling thing if it can't find the files.

OGG will not be supported in GC1.  Not sure about GC2, as I'm going to have a lot of other stuff on my plate. :)
