Why won't they move their ships?

They do move them eventually. I'm not sure why there is a delay (sometimes very long delay) before they are moved. But if you go to war with that computer, those ships will definately move.

i hate it when the computer does that, makes me wonder if he is going to attack me, or just sit there.

the worst is that the Yor just found 100 corvettes from the precursers, and they parked all 100 of them right beside one of my planets and they wont move them!
i should set up a tow-away zone there

I'm about to take advantage of that fact in my current gigantic game. The Arcean's were beating hell out of the Torians, when I snuck in and starting demanding that the Torians give me their star systems in exchange for my not going to war with them. The Arcean warships (Excaliburs, OUCH) have been sitting in the sectors that are now mine for about 5 years. My military is *finally* larger than theirs, so what I've been doing is getting anti-matter missiles into position around all of their unmoving fleets. Once everything is set, in a single month I'm going to do as much damage to their military as I can (this includes the two Terror Stars with fully loaded military upgrades and the 70-odd excaliburs I'm setting up near their home systems). Then, I'll offer a peace treaty right after. I'm hoping to do enough damage while taking little enough myself that I will seriously widen the gap between our respective military strengths. Heheh. Predictability can always be exploited.

Just watch now. They'll move right before you're ready to attack LOL
