How do you change your nickname?

Tried once, all I did was stop my scores from posting.

It shouldn't Miguel as long as your games continue to be posted under Miguel_Suau (player name).

Go to wincustomize.com. Logon using your galciv.com account. Choose Edit Account, Change Nick.

BTW, Mikelangelo. If you ever get tired of soloing in your empire, do consider joining the Fellowship or one of the other theme empires.

You'll have to go to your own empire: http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=248
and leave the empire. The button is at the bottom.

and come to the Fellowship and join!

Quit your current empire (silver button at the bottom of "My empire" screen )and then enter the empire of your liking. hint hint Freedom force

Once in that empire the silver button at the botton should be "Join empire" click this and the miricle of the web will make you part of that empire.

Thanks. (And I'm sure it had nothing to do with being ranked in the top 25... though I notice Fellowship jumped from 3 to 2 as soon as I joined
