Auto survey

at some point in the game my survey ship quits moving on it's own and no matter what I do I cannot get it to autosurvey, is this something that is supposed to happen or is it a glitch?

I think this means that there are no more anomolies left for it to explore.

I recently stopped using auto-survey, to stop hitting the stupid wormholes. I wish they had a button for atu-survey-but-skip-the-wormholes. Or have some advantage to hitting the wormholes.

It means there are no more anomalies left in explored territory.

If you discover more anomalies, autosurvey will start working again.

Actually, I've had it happen, then a turn later, it starts working again. It's irritating, but I like to keep an eye on those survey ships, anyway. They seem to attract enemy warships like flies to honey.
