Downloading the Patch

I have really found it impossible to download the 1.05 version patch (the 7MB one). since it rejects my serial number each time. All my e-mails throught tech support redirect me to Stardock where it confirms my serial number. Has this happened to anyone else, or can someone help me? The improvements in the patch look great and I feel like tech support is giving me the run-arouand.

Don't know how much help this is going to be, you've already tried this I'm sure, but, I found that when entering the serial number I had to ensure that if letters were in caps, I had to enter them in caps. That is, I had to enter the serial exactly the way it is written on the back of my CD.
