ANZAC's News From The A.S.S.

-------------
Intercepted live broard cast from a hidden survailence camera aboard "The A.S.S" installed by some other groups Spy who worked on her at her last manditory Multiverse inspection.
-------------
ANZAC closed Debriefing:

A lot has happened in the last 2 days
With the active recruiting, espionage, sabotage, and Rescue branches

at least 3 (that i know of at this point in time) of our X-Compatriots who decided to try it alone in their budding empire FF, have been persuaded to join GROSS. Our Emporer has just returned from being M.I.A and looks the worse for ware.. However He is alright. {BlueSteel nods towards Worty} GROSS also attempted to gain the services of another of our Collegues "Slitherin" however they were able to return to us {BlueSteel notions towards Slitherin} glad to have you both back..

Our Anti GROSS Propaganda seems to have had a limited effect so far..

Our Ranking in the MetaVerse has jumped back up to 7th thanks to the Return of our mates and myself..
This isn't enough to play a major role in the Multiverse Federated Empire Council.. so we need more Influence out there in the Metaverse

Spread the word to recruit Overlords.. All we need are Overlords who are capable of posting a score at least once a month and then we'll be right back up there with the elite.

Our HQ is now this ship we are now sinning in . "The ANZAC Space Ship", "The A.S.S." {bluesteel looks around to see if there are any smirks from the ranks... of which he is please to see that there are none} . "The ASS (Donkey,Mule,JackASS} was fundimental at Galipolli in the rescue of injured our mates in arms from the front line.. so she is aptly named..

Remember the ANZACS.. "Lest we forget" , let them be an insperation to us all in our Galactic Adventures
We currently have spies in.......

{A siren sounds and you see a lot of ppl running around..} and then the camera jostles around and then you hear "Sir.. we've found something.." you see my hand groap for the camera.. and then you get nothing but static....

Ah Cotal. Did ya ever see those Errol Flynn pirate movies with personable and intelligent female pirates?

I can see you as a piratess of the Southern Seas, cutlass in your mouth, swinging over to board an enemy ship. :D

Adrian,

You need to update your Galciv registration to a Drengin registration. See instructions below:

Updating your GalCiv registration to a Drengin.net registration. When your game is submitted your serial number will be submitted along with your score. All scores on the Metaverse are directly tied to your player name and your serial number. At some point if you upgrade to Drengin.net you will receive a new serial number. Once you have received this new serial number you should register Drengin.net on your system via Stardock Central. Then you should upgrade your Player Registration on the Metaverse to include your new serial number by converting your old scores to use the new Drengin serial. Because of the different serial numbers you must convert your old scores, submitted under your GalCiv serial number, to the Drengin.net serial number in order for both your old and new scores to show up together. On the Player Registration page there is a separate section for you to convert your serial number. Enter your Drengin.net serial number there and press the convert button. This action will change all your scores to use your new Drengin.net serial number and then change your player registration to use this number as well. From this point on all future scores should be submitted using the Drenign.net serial number and should show up on the Metaverse along with your old scores. If for some reason you have already entered your Drengin.net serial number but did not go through the conversion process don't worry. Just re-register your player with your original GalCiv serial number. Then return to the Player Registration screen and the conversion form will now be available. Just follow the process outlined above.

All ANZACs hail their new Supreme Leader... BLUESTEEL!!!

[thunder, lightning, the works]

Worship him as a god... for he is a god! The Mighty God of the Southern Hem...

Why am I doing this? I'm a pirate! :notsure: LOL
Reply #14 Top
Because pirates need ships to prey on, and the southern seas need ANZAC to keep the goods flowing. Send those juicy freighters our way. Arr!

Hmmm No credit given to the individual who first coined the phrase A.S.S.? Humph. I guess we'll have to put Kick the Anzac A.S.S. on our southern Bretheren's to do list for that.....

Well Slitherin I was a loner out there happily battling my way through the metaverse, but did notice all these icons next to players names. Didn't come into the forum until the weekend (too cold to go outside) and was having a root(isn't that what wombats eat) around and discovered the empires... Thought it would be a good idea to join one..

Been reading some other threads too, lots of good humour and help from other players.

A question, how do you become a veteran or an avatar?

Anyway enough of my ramling, looking forward to lots of banter... By the way, and this may put you off me, I,m actually a Pom now in Sydney.. hope its ok.

Adrian, after BlueSteel asks you to leave, consider coming to the Southern Seas pirates franchise. We love poms, and especially Sydneysiders.

Adrian,

Forum rank promotions are mysterious things. In a nutshell, promotions are given for contributions made to the forum and the game.

To get above Senator all the way to Avatar, you either have to be a Stardock employee or you need to buy over the company.

Thanks for the info guys and i'll certainly keep your invite in mind koala, although i don't have a very inventive nick at the moment... when i registered wasn't really paying attention i guess... I noticed it could be changed using Wincustomise, but I don't have that.. Is there any other way, without re-registering and losing my score?

Mr Adrian I think in part the titles depend on when a member joined (i.e. registered) as far as the vet-trany-arian title goes. The other titles I always assumed were held for Stardock admin' and ancillary staff. But now that I look at how many intermediate levels there are between titles (diplomat etc) I wonder if that's the case?

What part of the UK are you originaly from ? Wellington? aka like the Greatest English general? Your scoring is phenomenal! And my spelling is atrocious!

Oh by the way congrates ANZAC's 300 000! we've put on 'alot' of points in the past week despite the "Eureka Stockade Incident" (which will remain a puzzlement to me for a long time to come). :notsure:

Wincustomize.com is a website, Adrian.

Logon with your galciv.com account and select edit account and change nickname.

The very important thing to note is that you would still need to submit games using Adrian Hill. Don't type any other name else the game will be lost.

It's most certainly not by senoirity, Cotal.

We have very old-timers who are still Citizens.

The forum ranks achievable by us are Citizen, Veteran, Diplomat and Ambassador.

Oh yes, there is Exiled as well. That's pretty easy to get.

Adrian,

You can change your nick by visiting wincustomize.com. It should pick up your regular Stardock/Galciv ID and allow you to modify it. Step-by-step instructions are in this thread:

http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=82281#82488

I notice that Dark Assassin changed both his player name and his nickname after I posted the instructions. It isn't necessary. You can change only your nickname - i.e., what shows up here on the boards and in the Metaverse. If your player name stays "Adrian Hill" you can keep posting as "Adrian Hill" with no threat to your truly awe-inspiring score.

Wow - lots of people eager to help - I guess I took to long to type out my response. Sorry for the repeat.
