Thank you Brad for tweaking the Metaverse difficulty scoring!

2) The scoring system for the metaverse has been updated to give people who play at tougher levels even higher scores.

I know you guys have exhausted the budget for the Metaverse.
And we knew it is perfectly justified that you spend your time working on the game rather than the Metaverse, which is enjoyed only by a minority.

But once again, you did something that is above and beyond the call of duty.

From all of us who participate in the Metaverse,
Thank you.

Thanks guys! Now Ray the Wanderer can rest a little bit easier! (Which is good for all of us, and particularly the Little People in the Fellowship.)

You know me well, Nemesis of Ray.

The countless nights I've spent pacing my tower lamenting over this. :D

Brad,

If you are reading this, I've a favor to ask of you.

I'm going to upgrade to Drengin.net after work today.

However, I was thinking that with the scoring tweak, the Dregnin.net subscribers would be getting a scoring advantage over the non-subscribers until the Xpack gets released.

Would it be possible for the 1.05, 1.09 and 2.0 scores to be synchronized under the new scoring system so that everyone is on the same level playing field once the Xpack is out?

It's fine if that is too much work. Just trying my luck here.

Thanks for hearing me out and thanks for a great game!

I know you can, EBZ.

You didn't earn your title of the "Cranker of the Metaverse" for nothing. ;)

Lol, thanks. Btw Ray, did you read my post on the GROSS comm thread? I put a little of something about you into it ;) (please feel welcome to post there)

EBZ. Truly, a playing field unto himself. New theory: There is no crank. EBZ himself is a machine.

Suggested New Social Improvement:

EBZeroMatrix
Cost: 10300
Upkeep: Zero!

This Improvement functions in a similar manner to the standard production capital. However, instead of a flat 100% increase, the EBZeroMatrix increases production by 1% every 15 minutes. This stacks with all other production bonuses - at least until the stack overflows and the game crashes. Enjoy the benefits, but be sure you win fast once you build it!

Building this Improvement will immediately cause your Civilization to declare war on the Altarians, regardless of previous relations.

Actually, I no longer read the GROSS thread, EBZ.

But since you asked, I will certainly go read your post. :)

"I also want to give props to Ray and his FOTR empire for giving us the biggest run for our money. It's been fun Ray, and I do hope that you really don't have any hard feelings toward any of us for this."

Thanks for this, EBZ. No hard feelings on competiting at all. You guys are worthy opponents.

Tell me Obi Wan. Where do I go to download the EBZ mod?

Aaaargh! A typo in the EBZ improvement text! A phone call came in, and I've lost my chance to edit it.

The text should have read, 100% every 15 minutes, not 1%. Even I could finish a game fast enough to avoid a stack overflow with only the 1% boost. Maybe even on Gigantic. Maybe.

Tell me Obi Wan. Where do I go to download the EBZ mod?

Ray, distribution is apparently limited to GROSS.net subscribers at this time. One more reason to upgrade. General release is scheduled after the 2 mil barrier has been broken.

LMAO! You guys...wow I feel, err, almost important now, lol. I really do appreciate your posts about me (on the positive note). ;p

Hope you don't think I intended any negative notes - this was intended as a compliment. 85 GAMES POSTED, people. That's dedication. I'm curious to see if you finally get promoted to Rear Admiral when you hit 100!
From previous experience, player ranks have always been a function of both number of games and points.

If Rear Admiral is implemented, I don't think it would be different.

Bringing us full circle to what this post was about - unexpected and welcome tweaks to the Metaverse. Sorry for the extended detour.
