Snow Angel

Icicle lights are dancing in winter breezes,
While the clouds shed flakes
To start this post-autumn season.
Wool mittens and over-coats
Prevent the frost from biting
But our fireplace kisses
Keep us warmer, I've decided.
And this holiday is special
With more memories to build
We can throw snow balls at one another
In the middle of a field,
As we sip on hot chocolate,
And share sugar plum dreams.
Without you, this Christmas just isn't the same.
And I've checked my list,
And I've checked it twice
You're a snow angel at heart;
Our love feels so right.
So, with my heart in your hands
And a key for unlocking,
You've made my Season's Greeting a merry one
With your smile in my stocking ....
