HOW do you bring up the stupid troop loading panel? HELP!

For loading colony ships and transports, you have to move a slider, but where is it? its not anywhere on the damn screen and I cant figure out how to bring it up.

Is there a step by step way you have to do this? Please help im a big newb and im going insane trying to figure it out.

Two ways.

1. When it's produced and you're going through your production and launching screen. After you change production in the planet screen. look down in the far right corner, it will list your ships. Double click on either the transport or the colony ship you wish to load and viola, the slider appears.

2. If you wish to load after, go to your planet you have it at, or click it in your ship list and it will center on the planet its at. Click the planet and bring up the planet screen, then do #1 above.

Semi-ontopic kinda. When you buy a transport floating in space from another civilization (i.e. one thats about to invade a planet you'd like to have (ussually costs oddles of bc)) do the troops suddenly become human?? And if so how can that be possible? Because it seems to me they are . . . they get all the research bonuses I have but shouldn't. They should only be of the quality and race that the selling civilization has . . . do you know what I mean?

Also is there any way you can launch an empty Combat Transport . . . I like to use them as dreadnought/battle cruiser fodder but feel guilty for the million troop I have to send off to thier deaths. :sniff!:

Yeah, its not realistic but I'll pick gameplay over realism anytime.

Not that I know of. Combat Transports are actually rather good defenders with their high defense. The only way for transports to have zero troops if when they are launched after their base planet gets culture flipped. I've heard you get a CTD if the zero troop transport invades a planet.

No you cannot launch a zero. Launch a 1. Same thing nearly. And you can then land it on another of your planets and load up if you wish.
