Once the Expansion is out

I am playing the Beta of the expansion pack. Are there any more big changes coming in that? After the expansion is out are there any plans to add any more big changes. Or will it just be bug fixes from here on out? I for one would pay an extra amount of maoney if I could get ship customization or something along those lines. I realize that changes to graphics and such is not feasible without doing a GC2 and do not expect changes like that but ship building, a race or two.... any other ideas?
