Incredibly confusing fields

Perhaps someone can help me. I've played a few games, and have tried for multiple hours to get my game results to show up on the Metaverse.

When you go to log in, it asks you to fill in "Login" and "Password". Apparently my login is my e-mail address?

When I go to submit a finished game to the metaverse, it asks for my "Alias" and "e-mail address".. is my Alias the same as my "Nickname"?

When registering a player to an account in the metaverse (I'm a little confused about what a player and an account is) it asks for your "Name". I assumed this would be my "Nickname", but apparently it's my real name, as in "First" and "Last".. at least when I entered that information my account finally showed up in the Mid-west empire.

Suggestions:

First, unless these are All different things, perhaps we could get some common naming? If it's an Alias or a Nickname, keep the naming the same. If you want someone to enter their real life name, give them "First" and "Last" name fields, just as they gave when they registered to the site.

Secondly, could we maybe have a FAQ page about filling in all these fields? I've seen a massive amount of people asking why their games aren't showing up (just like my problem), but no one explaining the proper way to fill them in. Just suggestions like "Are you sure you registered the right name to the Metaverse?". That doesn't help me much since I'm not sure what registering to the metaverse means, and I'm not sure what the right name is in the first place...

This is the Galciv.com login. Nothing to do with the Metaverse.

No, it is your playername which you have registered as David Anderson. Agree that it is confusing. They should ask specifically for playername rather than use the word Alias.

Ah finally I get it! Ugh, too many hours wasted. I had two problems. One is that I didn't realize that Player Name and Alias were the same thing. Secondly, I think the site was having problems when I was registering at first, I never got a confirmation the first few times I registered, and those times I was registering the correct player name.

Ok, since I got a bunch of 1's and 2's in my scores during my testing, I'm going to make a new player name and have more fun :) Thanks a ton.
