You had to be there. My posts seem funny after a bottle of pinot, or two.

One thing you can do on uneventful turns is to talk to all the alien races to see if they have any cool new techs to trade for.

I sent out a fleet of Terror Stars for the first time ever! I cover the map with another screen to hasten the time it took for each to arrive at thier target planet (no graphics~no drag). This actually worked! Once I turned off pop-ups and the info splash stuff I could click rapidly watching my little bon-bons cruise around the map like corvettes! Well almost . . .

It's quite disturbing to hear of Terror Stars (with the ability to murder millions and millions) referred to as "bon-bons". LOL
