Metaverse Questions

On the Metaverse map, it shows the major empires, and several sectors within each.

1> What are these sectors about?

2> Where are the smaller empires at?

3> Certain empires refer to others as roadkill (ahem). What does this mean in relation to the Metaverse map?

4> There is a lot of sectors that are not withing a given empire's color boundaries, as is there are small sectors that are surrounded by the majors. If a player starts a new empire, are they going to be placed a safe distance away from the majors, or placed smack dap in the middle of them?

5> Say a single player empire is owned my a devout player, can this single player's submissions to his emire eventually grow into the noticable color coded boundaries?

6> Windows XP home comes with a built-in firewall. is this going to cause me grief when submitting scores to the metaverse?

That is all
(for now)

1>I think that in the future they will have something to do with downloading someone to play against.

2>The smaller empires must be minor races :D .

3>I have no idea.

4>My empire, the illuminati just got into the top ten, and we were placed in the middle of nowhere. None of the major empires were touching us.

5>Probably.

6>I use windows XP, and my games submit just fine, so dont worry.

Also, join the Illuminati! LOL

1) Just segments of the map
2) Nowhere, only Top 10 empires on the map
3) Nothing
4) A new Top 10 empire was be added into the empty spaces. Probably random placement.
5) Yes, if you can enter the Top 10 with one player's score. The higher your score, the bigger your spot
6) It could. Try submitting first. If it doesn't work, disable your firewall, security and ad-blocker softwares.

Here's a question: Why is Apolyton bigger than The Jedi Republic on the Galactic Map, while Jedi is ranked higher?

Yeah, the Galaxy Ownership algo is buggy. It is giving Apolyton a higher percentage than the Jedis incorrectly.

Or it could be so form of computational lag as you guys passed them only recently.

I think the map is buggy.
