I don't get it, I've tried several times now (with multiple games) to submit a score and it won't take. I've triple checked that my alias was the EXACT same, as well as my email, yet it doesn't take.

In addition, it seems that the confirmation of a successful submit is pretty worthless. When I try to submit with my firewall up It says the submition is successfull before my firewall even asks me if galciv can access the net. And yes I've tried submitting with my firewall off to no avail as well.

Tried to create an empire, but the browse logo's brough up a blank DL screen. Wuzup? If I need to have a logo on my HD, are there any available?

You will find quite a few empires using the logos of the minors in the game. They are probably in the Galciv directory. Else if you want, you could right click on them in the forum and save them.

I would recommend however that you search for a nice pic to represent your empire and then shrink it to size and to the right format using some graphics editor.

no, meaning I don't know much about editing pic files, or changing types. Not sure what type of prog I have (got one, somewhere).

Will look at the CD for some. thx
