Password prompt when editing my account

Seems a bit redundant redundant

http://awk.wincustomize.com/
I'm not a skinner so my personal Wincustomize site will be more for highlighting skins and objects of others. But I have noticed that when I want to edit the personal information from the "my account" tab I am prompted for my email and address. And when I do log in and click on the "Options" tab I am prompted again but nothing appears to happen.

Also, my activities are not tracked at all (not that there are a lot of them yet ). Could that be because I changed email addresses at some point after the new site went live?

It IS designed to ask for your username and password for that area for each editing session, but it seems odd that it doesnt remember you. Sounds like a cookie issue, but it might also be caching...try dropping your cookie security down a notch, or else change you settings to allow cookies from WinC. Just a guess, but it might be the problem.

I'll give that a shot. Thanks

Iterestingly enough, when I hit my personal page or any other Wincustomize site I am logged in automatically . . . odd.

Oddly enough, the same thing is happening to me There are lots of bugs to be worked out yet, for example, my profile shows that I'm 21 years old(I wish)and it will not let me change it(it asks for user and login over and over again)my user level changes almost daily, I donno what's happening but I feel the bugs will be worked out soon

I had this problem until I read on an earlier post the changes can be achieved through SDC.

my profile shows that I'm 21 years old(I wish)and it will not let me change it(it asks for user and login over and over again)

The log out issue is caused by some Operating Systems/Browsers which do not permit the use of "Third-party Cookies", that is, pages that attempt to cross domains to save cookie data. The SDNet Account page does attempt to do this when you are logging in.

Here is the symptoms:
The first initial time you login appears to work, however it's only for that single page view, and if you try to leave that page or update your account, it will look at your cookies to see if you are who you say you are. If they find invalid or missing data, you are then logged out.

Here is a fix:
A link has been provided on the account page, under the login form that will allow you to open the login page in a different way. This should allow you then to update your account.

If you use that link (which will open the login page in a new window) and it still refuses to log you in, please let me know. You can drop me a email at: Email

Thanks everyone for your patients.
