My computer was being upgraded by our IT dept over the weekend when corporate decided to reboot the whole system without telling anybody. It has destroyed Windows apparently! I get a fatal error every time I push the on/off button.

Luckily, I have access to a laptop.
Unluckily, it's a sucky laptop.

Unluckily, the stupid laptop seems to lose net connection at the drop of a hat.
